What is Visual Journal?

Creating a visual journal is a way to extract our inner process and put it onto paper. Through the use of images and words, we can bear witness to ourselves and our unique life journey. Visual Journal is an intuitive process that is sparked by paging through lots of images. Choose what jumps out at you, and see where the process goes. We follow the lead of our inner knower and cut, place and ultimately glue together satisfying creations that mirror our life, our interests, our feelings, our story.

Through cutting, tearing, straight or jagged lines, our story comes together in powerful and empowering ways. A Visual Journal is just that… a way to put our feelings, thoughts, and story on paper for ourselves to witness. This is an enriching process to start and continue throughout the lifespan. This practice can also be a way to explore personal life themes that arise while reading your SoulCollage® deck.
